For ski mountaineering enthusiasts, the close by Villgraten valley is a real paradise!
One of the best routes across the territory will take you along quiet trails through meadows and snow-covered forests of the Upper Pusteria Valley, up to the top of Cornetto di Fana. This 2,615-meter summit is one of the most spectacular of the Villgraten Mountains. Peace, solitude and a marvellous view await you for snowshoeing or winter hiking.
The Kreuzspitze, the local mountain, is another interesting destination. The Villgraten Valley in Tyrol is characterized by the absence of cable cars, hotels and holiday villages. Here, it was possible to preserve not only the beautiful natural scenery of the Alps and the familiar hospitality, but also the rural way of life, local customs and the illustrious craftsmanship tradition.
